Also, many rural roads are not in good condition, and could damage a smaller vehicle. A pickup truck, SUV, or van may be a better choice for you. Many people who live in the country enjoy having a truck, as they are able to haul cargo in the bed of the truck.
If your area is prone to flooding, get a vehicle that sits higher off the ground. Even though you do not want to drive through deep water, you are somewhat safer in a tall vehicle. Water is less likely to get inside your vehicle the higher it sits. As you can see, there are many good reasons why you should consider where you live before you buy a car.
You may save money, be safer, and simply enjoy your new vehicle more if it suits your environment well.
